Nutritional Sciences: Undergraduate Programs

Exit Surveys

Administered: May and December

Target population: graduating seniors

Findings
Graduating seniors provide input on the strengths and weaknesses of the Nutritional Sciences program in closed- and open-ended questions.  Students consistently rate the program within the range of “excellent” to “good” in areas such as advising, instruction, teaching assistants, and overall quality of the program. Overwhelmingly students cite the NSC faculty and curriculum as highlights of the program.  Information collected from this survey has been used to further improve the program.  For example, new courses in Nutrition Education/Counseling and Sports Nutrition have been developed due to direct feedback from students.

The table below summarizes the close-ended questions for the last five years.
