Conduct and report a research study--M.A.

Administered: As part of comprehensive exit exam for M.A. students

Target Population: Graduating M.A. students

Participation Rate: 100% of graduating M.A. students

The student will conduct an empirical research study and present the results to faculty and peers. The faculty will evaluate the presentation and the research using a scoring rubric developed for this purpose.

Outcomes Measured

  • The student can demonstrate skills necessary to make a presentation demonstrating competence in educational psychology.
  • The student can conduct an empirical research study in a substantive area of interest and make a presentation of that research study to faculty and student colleagues.
