Target Population: Students preparing for oral portion of doctoral examination
This is a new project to be included as part of the student's comprehensive examination. It will begin after students learn of that change in our procedure. Faculty will evaluate the project using a rubric that evaluates the success based on readiness for submission to a professional journal.
- The student can offer theory-based responses to questions or problems relevant to the field of educational psychology.
- The student can conduct an empirical research study in a substantive area of interest and make a presentation of that research study to faculty and student colleagues.
