Integrative review of literature--M.A.

Administered: Spring 2006

Target Population: Graduating M.A. students

This is a new assessment as part of the comprehensive examination for graduating M.A. students; the students currently in the program are being notified of this new requirement. The faculty will evaluate the written review and the presentation using the scoring rubric developed for that purpose.

Outcomes Measured

  • The student can demonstrate skills necessary to make a presentation demonstrating competence in educational psychology.
  • The student can: (a) conduct a research project; or (b) review the literature in a specific substantive area.
  • The student can prepare an integrative review of the literature on a particular topic and make a presentation of the literature review to faculty and student colleagues.
